Property or gold?
The best situation is to own both, because each preserves value. Either is worth investing in over the long term. If you cannot decide, let me help.
First, consider what you want. You can rent out property 🏠 and earn passive income, but it also has maintenance costs because it deteriorates. Gold cannot be rented out, but it does not develop such problems over time. You can live in property, but you cannot move it or sell it in portions. If money is tight, you cannot sell only the kitchen. Gold is movable and can be sold in smaller portions if needed, but you cannot live in it.
My view is that if you cannot yet afford property, accumulate gold that you can use later when creating a home. If you already own a home, buy gold alongside it to increase your security. There is an old saying: one third in paper assets, one third in property, and one third in gold.
