Will the price of gold collapse if a large mine is found?
I hear this question quite often, so let us discuss it. News recently spread that Uganda had found as much gold as had been mined throughout human history. It quickly proved false—but what if it really happened? I have also heard that the price will collapse when we start mining in space. Perhaps we should first solve the problem of trains being 90 minutes late when one centimetre of snow falls, and then move on to outer space. No?

Treasure found at a construction site in Nyírbátor
The head of a Hungarian bricklaying crew recently reported an interesting story. Attila Sz. and his team were renovating an old house in Nyírbátor and had reached the kitchen. While removing a built-in cabinet, they noticed a cavity behind the skirting board packed with flour bags. When they opened the bags, work stopped for a while because the contents surprised them so much.

Is it better to buy gold in smaller or larger units?
It is important to know that smaller units cost more in gold trading, while larger ones cost less. Smaller units have the advantage that you can access and sell them gradually if something sudden happens. If you own one large bar, however, it can only be sold back as a whole.
